A fairly noisy middle eastern bistro with a bar and a staging area for jazz bands. Serves a variety of Lebanese and middle eastern dishes in a trendy setting. [DK]

The food is excellent and well prepared. The grilled pita bread dipped in olive oil and herbs is delicious. I have eaten there for both lunch and dinner. My only complaint is the noise. You can't hear yourself think. Other than that, I would highly recommend Al Dar.[GK(grkaplan@juno.com), 8/8/96]
