Narberth welcomes its newest addition in the form of a lavender-colored attrium bar/retaurant serving an eclectic fusion-cuisine like lobster burritos, Australian style lamb with couscous, and similarly inspired concoctions presented artistically. Hopefully the art of food presentation will go deeper into the meal itself. What I had for lunch (ceasar salad with grilled chicken followed by a fried-banana encrusted bread pudding with a custard-chocolate sauce in a pattern on the plate) was good. [DK, 4/11/97]

I was at Husch a few weeks ago, with a friend and had a delicious lunch. Portabello mushroom sandwich. It's hard to believe that these people own the Balcony Cafe'. It's much better and more reasonable to go to Husch for lunch than dinner, from what I've heard. Dinner is VERY noisy and VERY expensive. One waitress has already quit. I recently went to HUSH for what I expected to be a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was wonderful as was the cuisine. We ran into one attitude problem. My wife selected a Stir Fry Chicken Salad. What arrived was a salty, sauteed breast of chicken (dry) and a mound of salad greens, and a scattering of cashews. This didn't ressemble a Stir Fried Chicken Salad in any form. When the waitress returned to check on our meals, things got worse. We told her of our delema, and her reply was "I don't get it; you have chicken and the greens are a salad; thats chicken salad!" Things only got worse when she returned to further badger us with further interrogation. "I just need to know; just what did you expect?" We explained the obvious as another waitress exclaimed, "I agree with you". How refreshing, someone a HUSH understood customer relations. Well soon after the "Manager" arrived to inquire again what was wrong, we again explained but I think things went a little bit too far by this time. If HUSH is going to be a top notch operation I think it needs to act that way. [MS, 10/3/97]

It appears that HUSCH is history. The owner intends to "retool" it into another restaurant. [DK, 4/27/98]
