After a long hiatus, an Indian restaurant ventures into the Main Line. Restaurant claims to take inspiration from the "immortal gift of sensual love" of the famed temples, juxtaposed between H&R Block and Pak Sun, in a space formerly occupied by Cafe Italia, offering a typical selection of North Indian dishes ranging from pakoras, samosas, to tandoori and curried chicken and lamb dishes, accompanied with a variety of breads. Also, serving Indian style brunch on the weekend. BYOB. [DK, 11/4/97]

Had the lunch buffet. All-you-can-eat for about $10.00. I thought it was terrific and the food was good quality. The lunch is a great deal. Every day, there is a buffet. Can't wait to go back. [GK, 2/22/98]

My husband and I went to Khajuraho for lunch, today. Do you know that on the weekdays, the brunch only costs $7.50? I assumed that it was $9.95, but that only applies for the weekend. Anyway, the food was excellent and the service, VERY attentive. After the meal, I asked one of the waiters where he was from and he pulled out a map of India. All of the waiters gathered around and pointed to the area that they came from. We spoke for quite a while about the different languages and religions. It's a very comfortable place to eat and I can't wait to go back. [GK, 3/1/98]

On Wednesday night, I dined at Khujaraho, with a friend and had an excellent dinner. We shared a basket of several different kinds of breads. My favorite was the onion kulcha. My entree was lamb karahi: tender morsels of lamb with ginger, garlic and tomatoes in this heavenly sauce. My friend had shrimp karahi and she totally enjoyed hers, too. Dinner comes with basmati rice. Also, a basket of crisp and spicey bread, called papadaam with chutney. It was very crowded, but I had made a reservation. [4/12/98]

My husband and I ate at Khajuraho on Sunday night. Excellent dinner, again. Do you know that they are expanding into the store, right next door? I'm glad. They're VERY popular. [GK, 5/29/98]
