Why do we always underestimate Narberth? The Tavern has remarkably good food and is one of the best kept secrets on the Main Line. The menu is not extensive but all of the selections (6 of us ate there) were tasty. Especially nice were the crab dishes. The ambiance is plain with oil cloth table cloths, but it is a friendly spot to dine and a great value for the dollar. [RRM, 11/14/97]
