A recently opened BYOB restaurant next to the Farmer's Market. Please let us know about it.

My husband and I ate dinner, on Sunday, at "Taste of India" in Wayne. It was terrific. When you're seated, you are given a complimentary basket of papadam and chutneys, which they refill. We shared a vegetarian platter of vegetable samosas, batata wada and bhaji. It was definitely enough for 2. Then, we both had lentil soup. Spicey, but delicious. My entree was Lamb Sagwala: boneless lamb cooked with chopped spinach, fresh garlic and ginger. It was wonderful! My husband had Lamb Vindaloo. The waiter asks how spicey you want your dish. The entrees come with Pulao rice and Dal. We finished the rice and the waiter came over to ask if we wanted more. I thought that was nice. We also shared Garlic Naan, which was heavenly. The bill came to $36.00. Can't wait to go back. It's a HUGE menu. Took us a while to decide. So many dishes. [GK, 3/31/98]
