Wayne welcomes its newest edition in the form of a BYOB Italian Cafe set in a trendy decor complete with blackclad waitstaff. Owned and operated by the same people who run restaurants by the same name in Princeton and New Brunswick.

Actually, Michael Ellis, the owner, has corrected us by pointing out that he is no longer associated with Teresa's of Princeton and New Brunswick. He independently owns and operates Teresa's in Wayne, PA.

Our roasted, stuffed red pepper appetizer was good and was followed by dissappointing fettucine pesto and gnocchi al pollo dishes that failed to match the environs in appearance as well as taste. Sauteed chicken in the gnocchi was leathery. Waiter (otherwise friendly) didn't show concern when the dish was left more or less unfinished and the doggy bag was refused. Am willing to give them another try though. [DK, 3/13/98]

Great place for lunch. Italian food--pizzas, panini, calzones, appetizers. No alcohol. Good service. Food well-prepared. Good vetegarian options. [SS, 3/13/98]

I went to Teresa's for lunch with two good friends of mine and had the spinach calzone. It was very tasty. The setting was nice and the waitstaff seemed attentive. Everything was around $7 for lunch so it's a bit expensive but not terrible. [TV, 2/3/98]

The food was good but not good enough to make me want to go back to a place where I could not hear my dinner companions even when they were shouting. [NS, 8/10/98]
