On the corner of Conestoga Rd. and Garrett Rd. in the Garrett Hill section of Rosemont. A pleasant Bar/Pub area and a dining room with booths. Serves up an array of nuevo-cuisine dishes. Very well-prepared food with generous portions. One can order some dishes in appetizer and/or half-size versions. I have tried their Salmon Salad, Pork Tenderloins, Mediterranean Chicken, a cajun chicken/sausage linguine dish. All very very tasty and good. Bar area also has some tables and a separate menu (pub fare). One can also order dishes from their main menu in the bar area. Decent selection of local (Dock Street, Yeung Ling) and imported beers (Whitebread, Bass, ...) on tap. [DK]

The "Onion" is our favorite Main Line Restaurant & Bar! We can always get great food with comfortable service in the dining room. And after dinner we retire upstairs to the game room for a game of fooz ball (sp) or pool and a couple of brews! [JMT, 9/14/98]
