Borders and Barnes & Noble: All in all, I prefer Borders -- they've got better coffee, much better iced coffee, and a better selection of snack foods. Their iced cappucino is especially good. However, they've also been steadily jacking their prices up since this summer, so Barnes & Noble is, I think, now the cheaper alternative. Also, Barnes & Noble is a bit less crowded, and their tables spread out beyond the strict cafe area, so it's easier for actually relaxing and talking with friends. [RS, BMC96, 4/6/96]
